Climate consciousness is at the center of the a.m. brand. Here are some of the things I do to reduce the impact of the items from production to shipping.

• Most of the yarn, fabric, and beads that I use are purchased secondhand and the rest of it is purchased from the clearance section of my local craft stores
• All shipping materials are curbside recyclable and some can be reused which is noted on the packaging
• I source jewelry finishings like earring hooks and jump rings from Rio Grande and a local jewelry supply store that sources hand-made materials.
• All items are hand-made (by me) and I make sure that none of my sourcing contributes to forced labor
• Any scraps from projects are repurposed for other products to reduce what ends up in the landfill
• I refuse to use Amazon and other big box stores to source any materials for the store and instead support businesses with substantive sustainability practices and ethical supply chains. This includes materials for creating the products, packaging, and shipping. This means I sometimes pay more for items but it’s worth every penny
